Dive programme

The branch has an active dive programme with formal branch dives every month of the year which allow people to plan dive trips in advance. The destinations for these trips include Plymouth, Weymouth, Brighton and Wittering. Other trips are organised at short notice by club members who wish to go at other times. The branch organises regular holiday trips to places including the Red Sea, Lanzarote, Normandy (France) and Scotland.

We prefer to book boats with local skippers which allows greater flexibility for different types of diving and locations.

Despite being a small club we cater for all diving levels, from ocean divers to technical divers exploring deeper Channel wrecks on trimix. We also welcome divers who have qualified with other agencies (e.g. PADI, NAUI) and who want to convert to BSAC to learn additional skills.

Training dives take place throughout the year and are usually arranged on demand. These often take place at inland sites such as Stoney Cove, Gildenburgh or Wraysbury but wherever possible we will run this as part of the scheduled boat dives.

We are always open to suggestions about new dive sites and trips that we can organise both in the UK and abroad.
